Application
|
Recommended for manual cleaning and ultrasonic cleaners. It is not recommended to be used with automated endoscope reprocessors.
1- Pre-cleaning:
Wipe down the external surface of the surgical instrument with gauze or a cloth, to remove the mucous membrane, blood, and filth that adhere to the external surface. Either moistened gauze or dry gauze is fine.
2- Cleaning: Depending on protein residue degree, the dilution rate is between 0,25% and 1%. For very dirty instruments Pump 4 times (20mlx4) and complete to 8 Liters of water. For relatively clean instruments Pump 1 time (20ml) and complete to 8 Liters water. Immerse the instruments into the container. Wait for 5-15 minutes. Scrub the instruments gently with a soft brush. Rinse thoroughly with distilled water (sterile distilled water is preferred). Wipe thoroughly and dry with an absorbent cleaning path. Sterilize the instruments or immerse them in a new soaking bath full of high-level disinfectant. Prepare new solution every day. |
